The call on corporate bodies to respond to society’s expectations as a result of the impact of their activities on the environment is on the increase.  It is therefore worth bringing to the attention of our readers the trend in GREL.

GREL’s activities are conducted in a ‘sustainable manner’   instead of degrading it. We recognize our responsibility to doing business in a way that protects and improves the state of the environment for future generations. Not only are we committed to sustainability but GREL is also very magnanimous when it comes to ‘CSR’ initiatives. We are committed to improving the lives of the people around communities in which we operate and where our employees live and work.

It is line with this that GREL, represented by a team led by the Corporate Affairs Manager   Mr. J.C. Garbrah on Thursday, May 9, 2013, handed over the keys to 2 separate 10-seater KVIPs  to the Awodua Community.  According to Mr. Garbrah it is the first time a community has received 2 separate infrastructure at the same time from the Company. In handing over the  keys to the   two projects   which   cost the Company   GHS. 148,000.   Mr. Garbrah reiterated  that  GREL is committed  at all times to conducting business in a responsible way and demonstrates  its  Corporate Social Responsibility  through a range of programs and activities under the banner of  Helping People and  Providing for Communities  where basic infrastructure are  missing.

He advised   the community to find ways of putting the facility to good use.

In a related development the Community Relations Manager Mr. Jude Fiifi Cudjoe and Mr. Kobina Acquaye a divisional manager at Kedadwen on Friday May, 10, 2013 donated a 10-seater KVIP to the Kedadwen community on behalf of the Company.
